Delete your account
You can delete your account and its data from inside the app, without asking anyone. This page exists because Google Play requires the instructions to be reachable from the open web as well.
In the app
Open Settings, scroll to the bottom, and choose Delete my account. You will be asked to type a confirmation before anything is removed.
What gets deleted
Your account, your sign-in, your personal settings, and your notification tokens are deleted immediately and permanently.
What happens to the diary itself depends on whether anyone else is still in your family:
- If someone else is still in the family, the diary stays with them. Entries and photos you added remain, because they are part of a shared family record rather than yours alone — the same way a photograph you took stays in a shared album.
- If you are the last member, the family goes with you: every entry, photo, voice recording, health note, measurement and appointment is permanently deleted, along with the stored files behind them. Nothing is retained and nothing can be recovered.
Getting a copy first
Deletion cannot be undone. If you want to keep anything, do it before you delete: in Settings, Export my data produces a single file containing your entries, health notes, appointments and settings, and Save photos and videos to my device copies the media into your own photo library.
If you cannot reach the app
If you have lost access to your device or cannot sign in, write to stebalex@gmail.com from the address associated with your account and ask for deletion. Requests are handled by hand, normally within a few days.
What is stored in the first place, and where it lives, is set out in the privacy policy.
